Photos of the Wet n Wild Spring 2014 Limited Edition 8-Pan Eyeshadow Palettes

PLEASE READ:  If you are looking for this collection or have located this collection and would like to help orthers, please see the interactive sightings map here.

If you missed my post from last night, Wet n Wild has released two new limited edition 8-pan eyeshadow palettes for Spring 2014, and they're similar to the Spring 2013 limited edition palettes in that they have special white packaging and there's both a nude and a more colorful palette in the collection.

I asked my contact at Wet n Wild for additional info, and I'm very excited to tell you that not only are there limited edition 8-pans for Spring 2014, but there are also limited edition nail colors (update: click here to see the Megalast nail colors in this collection). I'll be receiving both the palettes and the polishes for review very soon, so stay tuned for pics and swatches! In the meantime, Wet n Wild shared this photo with me (taken at the WnW offices) of both of the Spring 2014 palettes:

I am so excited to see these in person! How about you? So far I've only heard from readers who have spotted these palettes are Harmon Face Values/Bed Bath & Beyond, but I'm sure they'll be like last year and show up at Rite Aid and CVS soon. I can't recall if last year's palettes ever surfaced at Walgreens--if you remember, please let us know?

Again, please check back soon for more pics and swatches of both these and the Spring 2014 limited edition nail colors!

Special thanks to Wet n Wild for sharing the above pics with us--I really appreciate it!

    2. I feel you Danni! I only have CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid near me! None of them got them the 1st go round , but Rite Aid did end up getting them when they put them back out again later. I hate when they do Limited Edition stuff because they don't make it fair and send it to every chain of stores

    3. Hey Miranda! I've mentioned this here on the blog a few times but just in case you missed it, it's actually not WnW's fault that these might be hard to find in your area. I've been told directly by Wet n Wild (and other brands as well) that it's the RETAILER who decides if they're going to sell a limited edition, not the brand itself. Most brands make their limited edition collections available to ALL of their retailers, and then the retailer decides if they want it or not.

Further to that, the retailer also decides which locations are going to get limited edition displays and which are not. For example, they might order lots of them to be placed in various stores across the country, but for whatever reason, they might decide not to put them in your particular store.

My best advice is to speak to a store manager or beauty advisor at your local drugstore and request that they start selling Wet n Wild limited edition collections. If they get enough requests, they may change their distribution strategy accordingly.

I hope that clears it up a bit!

    4. G, I have talked to so many mangers at the stores I go to and it never changes! Maybe no one else is going in there talking to them , they won't do it for just one person :(

    5. Me too! Can't wait to see these..love them both.

    6. It's not us on the lower rungs, it's the people up in corporate that make the decisions. People have made so many requests for things, but myself and my store are powerless. It's the guys in the comfy chairs. :/

But I don't get it, because we'll get LE bigger name brands (Revlon, Maybelline) and I've also been told by my district manager that there are contracts involved with some companies to push certain items to certain chans/areas so I' don't really know for sure.

If you want, I'll see what I can find out this week.

  7. Drool. I want so bad. The limited edition Wet N Wild products don't seem to make their way up north to Canada though. :(

  8. Disappointed with the colors. The limited edition palette from last year looks prettier and much more wearable.

  11. Thanks for sharing! I've been having a gold and purple obsession...looks like this collection was made for me.

  12. I never saw these at any Walgreens last spring (and hunted these palettes down). I finally found them at a Rite Aid in September and it looked as if they had just been put out. I also later found them at a local discount grocery store chain. I was grocery shopping there today and saw they just put out last fall LE maybelline color tattoos! So keep looking ladies, hopefully we will all be able to find them! I checked ebay and they are on there already for about $25 :(

  13. I think I need them both! I love golds, and I don't have nearly enough purples to play with. My eyes can look grey, green, or blue depending on what I put on my lids. :)

  14. Last year the only place I found them was Meijer.

  16. I sure hope that the quality of these is consistent.... the new shadows in the permanent collection that they just realized were a bit of a disappointment. I feel like we've seen the purple one many times before, but the one with the pretty gold shades looks pretty.

    1. yeah, the purple doesn't feel very original to me...
I'm eyeing the middle gold shade on the neutral palette though, it looks gorgeous

  17. These are gorgeous! And it looks like we have a nod to Radiant Orchid here... Thanks for the great pics, G!!!

  18. One of my CVS has just started carrying WnW and maybe they will have the LE collections, because the Walgreens here (in OKC) NEVER carry LE in WnW. :/

  19. Judging from the photos, these will be a must have for me.

  20. i hope i can find these last year i could not find them nowhere in austin tx but at least i was able to order it from an online retailer

  21. Walk the red carpet... will be mine!

  22. I hope they used the old formula but I cant wait to find them!

  23. I have spoken with the Regional manager for CVS ( friend of my neighbors) here in Northern Atlanta, they will be carrying them. However she stated like last year only 3 sets of each palette and only select high volume stores. Didn't get them last year, but finally got them on ebay relatively cheap considering how high some of the prices are. The "Walking the Red Carpet, I saw on ebay is going for ( and selling ) for 24.99 per palette!

  24. I'm very curious about the Walking the Red Carpet palette. It looks great!

  25. I did buy mine at Walgreens last year!

  26. I don't expect that I will find the LE nail polishes once they are released, but I still can't wait to see the photos and swatches once available. I wish that WNW would really make these LE products more widely available!!

  27. So pretty! Can't wait to find these in stores! Especially Walking the Red Carpet. I know I found and got last year's LE palettes at Smith's Marketplace (WnW products also tend to be cheaper there than at Walgreens/Rite Aid or Walmart)--so I'll be watching for them there again!

  28. I'm dying to get my paws on Flirting at the After Party! I love purple shadows.

  29. i'm excited to hunt these bad boys down! i really like that gold shade from the more neutral palette and the purple one i'm not too interested in! i spoke to my contact at markwins and though wasn't able to tell me which locations near me would carry this LE (promotional) line, but told me that rite aid, walgreens, kmart, and cvs all took the promotion i'm definitely going to try to hunt these down. there is no way i want to fork out $24.99 on ebay for these!

  30. I just purchased both of these tonight and I'll be returning both palettes tomorrow to my local walgreens. The consistency and quality on a lot of the shadows were subpar to downright awful. I was excited about the gold too, but it's chalky and flaky and even with wet application and a primer it was fallout city.

  32. I work at Walgreens and we have them in Independence Ohio.

  33. The Rite Aid near me very rarely gets the limited edition Wet N Wild products. I'll have to get these on Ebay :(
