NEW Burt's Bees Lipsticks and BB Cream

I have some weird reminders that I set for myself  on a weekly basis, and one of them is "Check new beauty product page at Drugstore.com." Why, you ask? Well Drugstore.com often releases new products on their site before they hit brick & mortar retailers, and they post these new products very quietly, without any fanfare. One day they're not there, the next day they are.

So my Friday reminder to check the Drugstore.com "New to Store" page paid off today! I just spotted a brand spankin' new LIPSTICK line and new BB creams from Burt's Bees.

As of the time of this post, there's a listing on the Burt's Bees website HERE for the new lipsticks (you can't purchase them there yet, but there are several customer reviews you can read through) and I did not see a listing for the BB creams (yet). I would imagine that both of these new lines will start to pop up at all of the usual retailers within the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for them (CVS tends to get the new Burt's Bees products first, it seems).

  1. Oh, physical sunblock only, too! Very interested to see the color in the BB cream. Also, how freaking cute is that honeycomb design on the lipstick?!

    1. Same here. I love their lip balms and if the new lipstick is like their balms, I will be SO happy.

    3. ALL of their lip products are great. they're lip shimmers and lip crayons are abbbsluely not lacking in pigmentation, i'd guess these would be no dfferent. check out the lip crayons, there's some great fall shades and they're surprisingly longwearing - my dental hygenist had to ask me if i was wearing lipstick [it was in the bright pink hawaiian shade] because the lip color never seemed to fade throughout my appointment

  5. If the lipsticks are longer-lasting, more pigmented versions of their lip balms, I will be a very happy camper! Here's hoping their BB cream is light enough for the ghostly pale, like me! I'm going to be haunting my local CVS for both of these lines!

(Also with Ms Meghan...kinda wish they'd called it a BeeBee Cream.)

  6. i appreciate the inclusion of ingredients list in this post. it would be super helpful if ingredients were listed in mre posts. ill get the idea that i want something after reading your blog, then get home and realize i don't like some of the ingredients. even pics of the ingredients list would help a lot, if that's easier. anyways, thanks so much for your blog.

    1. Hi Michelle! I actually include a full ingredients list in ALL of my product reviews. For sightings, I include the full ingredients whenever possible. If the product is already online on a website that includes the ingredients, I either link to the site or post them (like I did here). But if I do a sightings post and the ingredients are not online, it's sometimes impossible to photograph them in-store (either by myself of from readers) because the labels are very tiny sometimes. That's about the only time I do not include ingredients. I pride myself on always, always including a full list of ingredients whenever possible (ESPECIALLY in my product reviews--I don't think I have ever not listed ingredients in a product review, unless they are just not printed on the packaging at all, and impossible to find online. Hope that clears it up for you! :)

  7. I saw that the BB's tinted lip balms are being discontinued at a local store, I wonder if they are being replaced by the lipsticks. Sad because the tinted lip balms are HG for me.

  8. I'm so eager to see swatches of these lipsticks! They all look gorgeous!
